My name is Julia. I am the founder of the textile doll brand Good and Strange. Good and Strange is not only my personal brand, I would call it a community of authors, many of whom sometimes have no idea what they are participating in. These are also the texts of my sister Lisa, which, together with the image of the character, give it a special charm and appeal. The authors with whom I collaborate make beautiful clothes for dolls, shoes, accessories. Well, and the most important thing in the image is the eyes! They seem to be created for my specific and slightly silly characters.

Making dolls is my main job, this is what brings me pleasure, joy, a feeling of fullness of life and, of course, income. The creative process for me is a way to relax, unwind, focus on a specific task and bring an idea to life. My ideas are not always fully realized, but this is the beauty of creativity. Something always goes wrong.

One of the most amazing episodes for me is the creation of a doll for a future baby. It seems like nothing unusual, but the nuance is that his mother really wanted a doll in the form of Anatoly Dyatlov, an engineer at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. In general, I decided that this was the perfect order and, of course, I made it. Five years have passed, and I still get photos of the baby and this toy, he really loved it.
